The topic is very clear, you are talking about how the Sims allows for originality through the creations of characters and their lives. It theorizes the topic for the most part. You give premises, but there are not questioning topics in your slides, or claims. Your slide show is a good guide to your topic, it outlines various ideas well. You talk about characters, to cars, to houses, families and so on..so this transitions nicely throughout the slideshow. Maybe you could add some more about how things are displayed on the game, and more about the different types of options for designs. Also, how to go about designing would be something interesting, what is the process of picking out your "life"? You have great visual images, I actually have never once played a SIMS game but I can see how it could get addicting. I don't think you need to change anything in relation to what images you used. As confusing as some of the readings, and lectures may have been, I suppose it would be helpful (for the class) if you were to add in something about the concepts our teacher made slideshows about. I think you have some narratology in your slides in terms of going through the motions about creating your own sims game.
I really enjoy this topic. I think the connection between the Sims and authorship is very clear throughout your presentation. The connection that i personally see is that the Sims allows anyone, even someone who does not consider themselves to be an "author" to be just that, an author.
in my opinion, i really think you can connect this to remix culture. how people take objects, characters, etc and change them to make them their own.
